The system should consist of a passively separated 3-way loudspeaker cabinet, which is driven and protected by a special controller output stage. The loudspeaker shall contain two 10-inch cone loudspeakers in a bass reflex tuned cabinet for the low frequency range. The used loudspeakers should be impregnated weatherproof. In the mid-range, a pressure chamber driver with a 3.5-inch ring diaphragm arranged coaxially in front of the high-frequency driver is to operate. In the high frequency range, a pressure chamber driver with a 1.75 inch ring diaphragm is to work. The pressure chamber drivers used are to be coupled to a common curved wave waveformer. The continuous load capacity of the system shall be 1,200 watts RMS. The loudspeaker should have a nominal impedance of 8 Ohm. The usable system bandwidth shall be 50 Hertz to 22,000 Hertz (-6 dB). The system shall be usable with either a horizontal dispersion angle of symmetric 120°, 90° and 60° or asymmetric 105°, 90° or 75°. When used alone, the loudspeaker should have a vertical dispersion angle of symmetric 20°. In combination with other loudspeakers of the same type in an array configuration, the vertical dispersion angle should depend on the number of loudspeakers used and their angle to each other. The angle of the elements to each other is fixed and is 20°. The maximum peak sound pressure level should be 146 dB SPL, measured with pink noise at a distance of 1 m, under half-space conditions and with a crest factor of 6. The speaker housing should be made of birch multiplex and sealed with a weather and moisture resistant polyurea coating (PU). The front of the loudspeaker should be equipped with a ball-proof protective grille, which is backed with acoustically neutral foam. Its physical dimensions should be 674 mm in width, 291 mm in height and 492 mm in depth. The weight of the loudspeaker shall be 27 kg. The loudspeaker box should have an integrated 2-point suspension, as well as a quick connector system, with which special accessories can be mounted. It should be possible to connect it to speakers of the same type without accessories, and to mount it to speakers of the same or a different type in a stacked or suspended sound system using accessories. The speaker should be connected via two 4-pole SpeakON sockets. The manufacturer's warranty shall be 5 years.

APS is an arrayable fullrange 3-way point source system for touring and installation applications. It has a transmission range of 50Hz - 22kHz (-6dB), an AES power of 1,200 W and can reach a peak level of 146 dB (6dB Crest). The radiation characteristics per element are 20° in the vertical and 120°, 90° or 60°, as well as asymmetric 105°, 90° or 75° in the horizontal. The system is operated, controlled and monitored by an external CODA AUDIO LINUS system amplifier.
