The system should consist of an actively separated 3-way loudspeaker box, which is driven and protected by a special controller output stage. The loudspeaker shall contain two 12-inch cone loudspeakers in a bass reflex tuned cabinet for the low frequency range. The loudspeakers used should be impregnated weatherproof. In the mid-range, a pressure chamber driver with a 3.5-inch ring diaphragm arranged coaxially in front of the high-frequency driver is to operate. In the high frequency range, a pressure chamber driver with a 1.75 inch ring diaphragm is to work. The pressure chamber drivers used are to be coupled to a common planar wave waveformer. The continuous load capacity of the system should be 2,000 watts RMS. The loudspeaker should have a nominal impedance of 8 ohms in the LF path and 16 ohms in the MF/HF path. The usable system bandwidth should be 50 Hertz to 22,000 Hertz (-6 dB). The system should be usable with a horizontal dispersion angle of symmetrical 90°, 120° or asymmetrical 105°. When used alone, the loudspeaker should have a vertical dispersion angle of 8°. In combination with other loudspeakers of the same type in configuration as line source arrays, the vertical dispersion angle should depend on the number of loudspeakers used and their angle to each other. The angle of the elements to each other should be minimum 0° and maximum 8° within the system. The maximum peak sound pressure level should be 148 dB SPL, measured with pink noise at a distance of 1 m, under half-space conditions and with a crest factor of 6. The speaker cabinet should be made of birch multiplex and sealed with a weather and moisture resistant polyurea coating (PU). The front of the speaker should be equipped with a ball-proof protective grille, which is backed with acoustically neutral foam. Its physical dimensions should be 674 mm in width, 356 mm in height and 555 mm in depth. The weight of the loudspeaker should be 39.5 kg. The loudspeaker box should have an integrated 3-point suspension with which special accessories can be mounted. It should be possible to connect it without accessories to loudspeakers of the same type as well as to mount it with accessories to loudspeakers of the same or a different type to a stacked or suspended line source. The loudspeaker should be connected via a 4-pin SpeakON socket and a fixed 4-pin SpeakON Link cable. The manufacturer's warranty shall be 5 years.
