Info
product description
The Washbeam Sparx 30 with TwinZoom –
extremely bright, dramatic and quiet!
The Sparx 30 LED washlight, with TwinZoom and 61x 40 watt LED power, is an absolute superstar for
impressive washlight applications in breathtaking quality and variety.
The optical system guarantees perfectly homogeneous illumination, effective Kling-Net and multicolour
applications as well as colour gradients in unimagined variety and brilliance. With the help of the segmentally
controllable TwinZoom of 3°–70° (1:23), completely new beam effects and shapes that were previously unthinkable in this form, can be created. The basic color temperature of the Sparx30 is freely selectable enabling it
to be ideally integrated into existing lighting ensembles. Thanks to its 61 LEDs, it is in a league of its own when
playing media content. With LED single pixel control, color-spreading and sparkle channels as well as its variety
of patterns and colours, it also impresses across the board with backlighting. With its low weight (just 28.4 kg)
and its compact design, it is ideally suited for use on tour. Special heatpipe cooling enables the Sparx 30 to
go about its work so quietly it is hard to believe it is possible.
Sparx 30 – the superstar for impressive washlight
applications, with features such as:
• Patented TwinZoom from 3°– 70° (1:23)
• Individual LED single pixel control
• Macro channels for simple effect utilisation
• Overlay of multiple layers with independent
patterns
• Glow channel and Color Spread channel
• Sparkle channel for dynamic effects
• Optimised color mixing behaviour
• Flicker-free operation,
camera mode up to 600 Hz
• stepless and color-accurate
dimming from 0 –100%
• Ultra-quiet 29 dB(A)
• Electronic strobe with
pulse and random effects
• Separate CTC channel

Sparx30 RGBW

General
LED-based moving head washlight with a total of 61 high-performance LEDs with 40 watts, each with a red, blue, green and white chip. Due to the optical properties, the headlamp should be able to be used both as a beam headlamp for effect lighting and as a washlight for lighting.

Light source
The headlight should be equipped with RGBW multichip LEDs with 40W each. As a LED manufacturer, only a well-known manufacturer that delivers premium quality is permitted. The headlight should generate at least 36,000 lumens.

Light source optionally as HCRI
The headlight should be equipped with RGBY multichip LEDs with 40W each. As a LED manufacturer, only a well-known manufacturer that delivers premium quality is permitted. The headlight should produce at least 30,000 lumens.

Control
It is controlled via DMX512. The control should be possible via cable as well as a radio DMX built in as standard. A WLAN / Bluetooth module for controlling the headlamp is also to be integrated. The control of the LED module should be possible in at least two different control curves (linear and exponential). Pan / tilt and the color mixing should be controlled in 16bit. The dimmer must work absolutely continuously and color-true from 0-100%. A color correction channel must be available, which should be freely combinable with other color channels. A “glow in” like with a halogen lamp should be possible and the headlight should have preset white in different color temperatures. The headlight should have an extensive effects library. Macros for waber and flickering effects are desirable. In addition, the LEDs should also be able to be controlled individually. In order to adapt to different camera systems, different repetition frequencies for the LEDs should be able to be selected via DMX / RDM.

Optical system
Requirements for the optical properties of the headlamp are a clearly defined light beam with very little stray light and a minimum beam angle of 3 ° and a maximum beam angle of 70 °. The lenses should result in a round light emission. The zoom should be equipped as a double zoom with 2 separate controllable zoom areas. These areas should be able to be controlled separately in a ring. It should be possible to mount an optional beam shape. This should serve to create an oval / rectangular light outlet from the round light outlet. This beam shape must be ordered separately.

Control
The headlamp should be controlled with the control protocols DMX512, RDM, Artnet, sACN and KlingNet, have 5-pin lockable XLR connectors and 2 lockable Ethernet connections (IN and OUT) for connecting the data lines. The selection and storage of all device settings that can be set by the user is to be carried out via an operating panel on the headlamp with a graphic color touch LCD display or via the data line in connection with a control unit. The graphic display should be rotatable. The eadlight should have a battery backup for setting the headlight properties, e.g. for setting the DMX address. The headlight should have the option of at least 20 program steps that can be saved on the device. Several headlights should be able to be connected together in the form of a series connection, with one device acting as a master, the program settings of which are to be adopted by the connected headlights. The spotlight should have a built-in receiver module for control via radio DMX at the factory. The protocol of the radio module must be compatible with lumen radio transmitters.

Installation
The headlamp should have a base and should be operated in any position. The headlamp should be installed with two adapter plates that can be screwed together with clamps. The adapter plates should be able to be mounted on the headlights with quick-release fasteners. A reinforced anchor point on the basement of the headlight for a safety rope must be available.

Mains connection and power supply
The headlight should be able to be operated with the mains voltages of 100V - 240V and 50 - 60 Hz. The power consumption should be at a maximum of 2200VA. The headlight should have powerCON TRUE1 IN / OUT connections.

Cleaning and maintenance
The headlamp should be as service-friendly as possible. This includes easy-to-clean air filters that e.g. are accessible via bayonet locks. The optical system should be dust-proof. If necessary, the LEDs should be able to be replaced by experienced users themselves and without soldering.

Surroundings
The headlamp should be operated in a dry, well-ventilated environment, the temperature of which does not exceed 45 ° C.

Dimensions and weight
Maximum dimensions: W 530 x H 628 x D 308 mm. Weight 28.4 kg
